Welcome to the weekend
Hi again,

As part of our continued campaign to bring you as much web design and development content as we can muster, episode seven of the .net podcast is now live (check out www.netmag.co.uk/zine/podcast for more info).

In the latest instalment, we've managed to rope in Jon Hicks, who - even though he may not thank us for saying it - is most famous for designing the Firefox logo; Mark Norman Francis, lead web developer at Yahoo; and Jeremy Keith, who seems to be able to turn his hand to most things!

In this episode, we discuss the BBC announcement that they will soon make programmes from the last seven days available through their iPlayer. There's been a mixed response to the decision, and our panel talks through the numerous concerns that have been raised.

In other news, we look at the extraordinary events unfolding on social news website digg.com, where users have launched a full scale rebellion following a decision by Digg to remove stories relating to the decrypting of HD DVDs. There's also chat about POSH, a new acronym proposed by Jeremy Keith, and we finish off with a look at Coda, the new CSS/HTML editor that's getting developers all gooey and excited.

If that's not enough to keep you happy, then pick up a copy of the latest issue - our Google special - which is available in all good newsagents now.

Have a great weekend!
