Hi there!

This week, Sky (www.sky.com/broadband) entered the broadband market while in response The Carphone Warehouse dropped its Talk Talk prices only months after its launch. Launching in August, Sky will offer three main broadband services: A basic 2MB service will be free for all Sky subscribers no matter what TV package they are on. While customers will not have to pay for the ongoing service they will have to pay installation and connection fees, which could cost up to £50. An 8MB service will cost £5 a month, while up to 16MB will be priced at £10 a month. As with Talk Talk all Sky broadband customers will still need top pay £11.99 for BT line rental.

Google has finally released its click-to-play video ad format. The ads are user-initiated, which Google said will help advertisers get more engaged users and qualified leads. Users who want to view the ads press Play on the control bar to start the video. Currently available in 14 languages, the ads can be targeted to specific sites or contextually, and Google can charge advertisers on either a cost-per-impression or cost-per-click.

Finally, American Express has launched a cool microsite for its sponsorship of The Rolling Stones' A Bigger Bang tour. Check it our at www.americanexpress.com/uk/stones.

Have a great weekend.
