Issue 196 - an apology

We’d like to apologise unreservedly to our readers for any offence caused by inappropriate language that appeared in an advertisement that ran in issue 196 of .net magazine.  Although the magazine has an over-18 readership, our editorial policy does not endorse language of this sort, and we’ve taken this up with the advertiser in question. We’ll be stepping-up our editorial vetting process to ensure that an incident like this does not happen again.
