EDITORIAL INTRO FOR ISSUE 189
“The very best myths are usually the ones that have some grain of truth at their centre”
We’ve all propagated a myth at some point or other in our lives. Most of us probably aren’t too willing to admit it, but the fact is that we’re predisposed to believe things that people tell us. We’re just nice like that. However, the more outlandish the claim, the more likely we are to question it, which is why the very best myths are usually the ones that have some grain of truth at their centre.
In this issue’s lead feature, we dispel some of the biggest myths in web design and development, which – though often containing an element of fact – can have an adverse effect on your projects if you strictly adhere to them.
It’s time to slay the dragon, and banish outdated dogma to a far and distant land. So, without further ado, turn to page 40 of the new issue and discover whether everything you think you know about web design and development is actually wrong!
