EDITORIAL INTRO FOR ISSUE 192
“We’ve been waiting for a chance to get some Augmented Reality in the mag. And here it is!”
Back in issue 188, I waxed lyrical about a number of online projects showcasing what can be done with Augmented Reality on the web. Ever since, we’ve been waiting for a chance to get some Augmented Reality in the mag. And here it is!
To accompany our New Dimensions in Web Design feature we enlisted the help of the multi-talented Rob Chiu and digital creative agency Public. Working in collaboration with Public, Rob designed the 2D illustration, after which Public added the 3D mind candy. And the result? Well, you’ll have to find out for yourself.
All you need to do to access our 3D illustration is turn to page 52 in the mag, visit www.publicreative.com/netmag and hold the illustration up to a webcam. Booya!
Enjoy the issue, and don’t forget that you can catch the .net team and our contributors on the Twitternet.
