Welcome to a special new issue of .net - special because this month the magazine comes with a brand new look, brand new contributors and brand new sections to get your teeth into!

Our new-look cover feature examines the issue of website redesigns. Other highlights include an exclusive interview with British hacker Gary McKinnon and CSS tutorials from experts John Oxton and Andy Budd.

I’m also delighted to welcome our new panel of editorial advisers - they are some of the leading figures in teh web community and will be helping to ensure that .net delivers relevant and best practise advice. Finally, I’m sad to tell you that thsi is my last issue of .net - I’m moving on to a new venture, but keep an eye out for next issue when Dan Oliver (an old .net face) will be taking up the baton.
