This week, Firefox 2.0 made its public debut just a week after Microsoft released IE7. The upgrade from Firefox 1.5 includes an anti-phishing tool, improved tabbed browsing, search entry suggestions and an in-line spell checker. BitTorrent has announced licensing deals with hardware manufacturers Asus, Planex and QNAP, meaning that the popular filesharing tool will now be built into storage devices and routers.
Finally, hacker Jon Lech Johansen claims to have ‘reverse engineered’ iTunes' DRM and plans to license the code to digital music player manufacturers.
